My dream about meeting Jackson

Tags

, , , , ,

Hi all I hope you are doing well.

I had this dream last night, and I woke up a very happy igot7 indeed after it happened. So in my dream I met Jackson (not sure where the rest of got7 was.) but it was just me and him. We talked about a couple of things and then I got a hug from him and as he hugged me I said the following.
“I just want to thank you because you and your members have helped me to stop self harming and I love you all so much.”
And then he squeezed me a little, not too much more like in a comforting kind of way. And he said he was proud of me and that I should Stay strong and never give up because got7 will always be there for me even if we are so far away from each other.
And after that I woke up, I hope that dream becomes somewhat real in a way just so I can tell them.
I just wanted to briefly share that with you all because it made me so happy.

It’s been a 50/50 kind of few days

So the past few days have been part good and part bad in places, you might not see it as that bad but it was to me.

So the first good part was when I won a couple of ebay auctions on some much needed got7 photo cards, 2 of them being Jackson cards – some of his cards are extremely difficult to find at a reasonable price as it is so that I managed to win not one but two made me feel pretty good at that point.

Now onto the not so good on Sunday the Victoria and Albert Museum had a mini event for chuseok where there would be some kpop dance workshops at 3 times during the day. So I went along intending to try and take part in the 2pm (no pun intended.) workshop. But when it got to 2pm itself I gelt a anxiety episode coming so I just sat at the back calming myself down while I watched everyone else take part, I was so mad at myself for not being able to do it due to my anxiety screwing me over yet again. I know the fact that I was even able to leave the house to go down to the event was a big thing for me in itself I just wish I had been able to at least try and dance. I might be pushing myself too much right now to try and do things that “scare me.” And I should probably should just not rush into things like that again in future.

And finally I have had another piece of good happen to me. My Mwave meet and greet cd’s arrived, if you don’t know I was honoured to be picked by Junior via the random button so one of my CD’s is signed by GOT7.

I will be honest here now I was close to tears when I saw their signautes, I know that is really sad to some people but to me it does mean a lot to me to have their autographs. I also opened the package on my youtube channel (link to that below.)

So that was my last few days a 50/50 mix of things. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I will write again soon.

Worldwide Suicide prevention day + Suicide Prevention week 2015

Suicide Prevention week starts on September 7th 2015, and worldwide Suicide prevention day is on September 10th and of course I wanted to give you all the information on the facts about worldwide suicides, the day itself and what you can do to help raise awareness of suicide and how it can be prevented.

The following information is from “World health organisation” and from “TWLOHA”

Suicide the facts

  • Over 800 000 people die due to suicide every year.
  • For every suicide there are many more people who attempt suicide every year. A prior suicide attempt is the single most important risk factor for suicide in the general population.
  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15–29-year-olds.
  • 75% of global suicides occur in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Ingestion of pesticide, hanging and firearms are among the most common methods of suicide globally.
  • Every year more than 800 000 people take their own life and there are many more people who attempt suicide. Every suicide is a tragedy that affects families, communities and entire countries and has long-lasting effects on the people left behind. Suicide occurs throughout the lifespan and was the second leading cause of death among 15–29-year-olds globally in 2012.
  • Suicide does not just occur in high-income countries, but is a global phenomenon in all regions of the world. In fact, 75% of global suicides occurred in low- and middle-income countries in 2012.
  • Suicide is a serious public health problem; however, suicides are preventable with timely, evidence-based and often low-cost interventions. For national responses to be effective, a comprehensive multisectoral suicide prevention strategy is needed.

Who is at Risk?

  • the link between suicide and mental disorders (in particular, depression and alcohol use disorders) is well established in high-income countries, many suicides happen impulsively in moments of crisis with a breakdown in the ability to deal with life stresses, such as financial problems, relationship break-up or chronic pain and illness.
  • experiencing conflict, disaster, violence, abuse, or loss and a sense of isolation are strongly associated with suicidal behaviour. Suicide rates are also high amongst vulnerable groups who experience discrimination, such as refugees and migrants; indigenous peoples; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex (LGBTI) persons; and prisoners. By far the strongest risk factor for suicide is a previous suicide attempt.

Prevention and Control

Suicides are preventable. There are a number of measures that can be taken at population, sub-population and individual levels to prevent suicide and suicide attempts. These include:

  • reducing access to the means of suicide (e.g. pesticides, firearms, certain medications);
  • reporting by media in a responsible way;
  • introducing alcohol policies to reduce the harmful use of alcohol;
  • early identification, treatment and care of people with mental and substance use disorders, chronic pain and acute emotional distress;
  • training of non-specialized health workers in the assessment and management of suicidal behaviour;
  • follow-up care for people who attempted suicide and provision of community support.

Suicide is a complex issue and therefore suicide prevention efforts require coordination and collaboration among multiple sectors of society, including the health sector and other sectors such as education, labour, agriculture, business, justice, law, defense, politics, and the media. These efforts must be comprehensive and integrated as no single approach alone can make an impact on an issue as complex as suicide.
Challenges and obstacles

  • Stigma and taboo
    Stigma, particularly surrounding mental disorders and suicide, means many people thinking of taking their own life or who have attempted suicide are not seeking help and are therefore not getting the help they need. The prevention of suicide has not been adequately addressed due to a lack of awareness of suicide as a major public health problem and the taboo in many societies to openly discuss it. To date, only a few countries have included suicide prevention among their health priorities and only 28 countries report having a national suicide prevention strategy.
  • Raising community awareness and breaking down the taboo is important for countries to make progress in preventing suicide.

Now that I have given you the facts about suicide here is what you can do to support both Suicide Prevention week and Worldwide suicide prevention day 2015

I struggled today + Self Care 101

Tags

hi everyone today has not been the easiest day for me I emotionally struggled and I have shed a fair few tears too today.

When you are in recovery from any kind of mental illness or disorder you will have good days and you will have bad days and I have been doing what I can to take care of myself today, I strongly believe in self care when you are in recovery because it helps you out on those days when things get really difficult. Some good examples of self care are.
– Take your meds : If you are on medication then you need to take it, it was given to you to help you with what it is that you are recovering from.

– Get pleanty of rest : we all need around 7-8 hours of sleep and if you  aren’t getting that and still feel tired take some naps during the day.

– Fuel your body : drink lots of water and try to eat some lean protien, fruits, vegetables and healthy fats.

– Move : jump on a trampoline, walk, run, hike and even if you just get out of bed and walk to your kitchen to get something to eat get your body moving.

– Be Still : take about 30 minutes of your day to just breathe; learn to meditate, keep quiet, centre yourself or anything else which is still and quiet can really help.

– Speak up : not the easiest thing to do but please if you are feeling like you need any form of help please do talk to a friend, family member, teacher or anyone that you trust speak to someone.

– Have fun : Try and do something everyday if you possibly can having something to do can really lift your mood.

– Celebrate accomplishments : big or small if you reach a goal or do something that you haven’t been able to do before celebrate it, it does not matter what the you do, do something to treat yourself for what you achieved that day.

And that concludes todays post I am doing better now and am currently sat here watching Markiplier on youtube.

I’ll see you all again in the next post.

Hi again everyone I hope you have all been doing well and supporting the GOT7 boys as much as possible.

So this week my copy of just right has arrived and I was very happy to get my copy after the wait for it to be shipped to me. As I opened the album up I was scared as I was not sure of which member photo card I would be getting in the album, so as I got to it I opened up the photo book with the photo card in and squealed as I after many months of waiting I finally got a Jackson photo card!!! this made me overly happy as I never really get Jackson’s photo cards on a first album purchase so I feel extra lucky to be able to finally have his photo card, I also got Juniors larger card in the album too which also made me super happy too, below is a picture of my copy of the CD with the cards too.

blogpost

I am also planning to collect all GOT7 photo cards from all of their Korean and Japanese releases which I will be keeping you all updated on too as I grow my collection bigger by the release and any kind of promotions.

KCON is this weekend and sadly as I live in England i cannot be there to see GOT7 =( I will see them one day I know I will I just have this silly tendency of getting bad cases of jealousy when they go to other countries but not the UK. I hope to get a passport one day so I can go and see GOT7 anywhere in the world. I would love to travel so to do it for them would be a awesome adventure.

I hope you all have a amazing weekend I will write again soon, take care xo xo xo

Hello Hello Hello there Clean for got7 is now on wordpress!!! anyway so I am not really that good at these first blog posts but I will try my best to make this another enjoyable place for you all to come and see what I have to say and I hope that I can help you all out too.

So My newest got7 video went up today about the fansites that I go t the most for my got7 fixes, I hope you can take some time to watch it and also check out the fansites that I mentioned to you all. Video is below so you can all check it out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsBsA61Q1J4

I also started up my second channel yesterday there is only 1 intro video on there so far and I aim to be able to distract you all from your worries on there so you can just kick back and relax while I do something that is not mental health or got7 related. Again link is below if you would like to subscribe.

Things have been going well recovery wise I am well over 130 days self harm clean, career wise I still do not have a clue what I really want but I am getting some help to be able to figure out where my life is actually even going and make a real head start on that as soon as possible. Also I am trying to eat a whole lot better now, as some of you may know I was bullied by the manager at my last job and after I left there in November I comfort binge ate to repress the feelings of what she made me feel about myself I still cannot believe that I let her do that to me when nobody should ever have your permission to hurt you in such a big way like that ever. I have been doing great so far and I will continue to keep working at it until I feel healthier and happier as a person for doing it.

anyway I think I am going to leave this first post here and I will be back very soon with another post I hope you like that I am branching out onto many social medias to stay connected with you all in as many ways as possible.

Take care and I will see you all again very soon xo xo xo
